Genevieve's mission at The Body Pilates is for all bodies to love movement, be it through Pilates exercises or exercises from the
GYROTONIC Method. Some, but definitely not all, of the areas that she covers are:
General Fitness:Whether you are already doing group Pilates classes, or have a Personal Trainer, having private Pilates instruction will make a big difference to your training. At The Body Pilates, Genevieve pride's herself on educating clients to move better and to understand the importance of good alignment. She wants you to take what you learn in the studio and apply it to your life and your fitness regime.
Active Ageing:
For those with a little bit more life experience. Studio sessions will move at a slightly slower pace, with a particular focus on balance, co-ordination and safe strength training.
Osteoporosis safe:
Avoiding contraindicated exercises such as forward flexion, our programs works on strengthening bone, improving balance to reduce the risk of falls, and teaching safe ways to move in your daily life.
